WHy did u become a MAgician...INTRODUCTION
For the look on their faces...Having the ability to amaze is a wonderful "power" (if you wish to call it that) and that would be my simple answer to the question, but I'm not stopping there.
I have always been fascinated with the supernatural and the powers that go along with it. Whether it be magic, aliens, ghosts, telepathy etc...They all interest me in different ways. Even if these "powers" were fake and/or supernatural beings are not real, the fact that people believe in them would still catch my eye...The human brain could almost be considered "supernatural" all on it's own.
When I used to watch magic specials on television when I was a kid, I always had to figure out how it was done and every single time I saw an effect being performed I always said to myself "I want to do that".
Magic is absolutely amazing, to perform and watch. It's always win/win for both parties. You get to meet new and interesting people everyday, people that you probably would have never met otherwise.
You learn more about yourself everytime you perform and you learn how peoples minds work in very interesting ways. The human brain is so fascinating and by performing magic you not only get into other peoples minds, but also your own...
One of the best things is when you show someone something in the street or the park and you can just tell that they are running through their daily lives like always. Then you enter the picture and give them something amazing to think about for the rest of the day and sometimes weeks, which they will remember the rest of their life. And in the end, you know that you have touched this person in a way they have never felt before and made their day that much better than the normal routine they're used to. It's such a great feeling to be able to do that.
It opens people up to the possibilities. It gives them wonder, amazement, joy, happiness and in some cases hope. It makes them feel like a kid again. I am sure you have heard someone say "Oh I wish I was a kid again". This is exactly what you do for them. You may not make them a child, but you give them the feeling of being one. And that right there is exactly why they say "I wish I was a kid again". Because it is quite simply just a very good feeling to have. And this is what I do for them...
Magic isn't in the sleight of hand, the machine constructed gimmicks or the illusions. It's within the spectators...That is where the true magic lies. The magic is the feeling that they get when watching you. This is why I perform magic and miracles to some. Because even if only for a second, I got to touch their soul and their heart

Re: WHy did u become a MAgician...INTRODUCTION
hi i'm jey square from philippines
I've always been into magic. I'm 21 now. I remember having a kids magic kit when I was about three years old. For some reason, it always fascinated me. I never really took it seriously until about a year ago. Before that, I would tell people how the tricks were done and I wasn't really a magician. I rediscovered magic around a year ago and now I consider myself a real magician. I practice almost every day. As Criss Angel says, I've been "bit by the bug." Now I never expose tricks, not even to my own mother. I've learned that exposing tricks kills the art of magic. I currently do magic as just a hobby and I have a plan on it being my career. I've performed out on the street a few times and I perform at my school a lot. I love magic and I love the feeling it gives me and my spectators.

When you sticky a thread, you "stick" that thread to the top of the section. So it wont get held down.
