Insane Card-Catch

effect: The magician has a spectator select a card. The card is signed on the face and is placed within the deck. The deck is then handed to the spectator to shuffle. The magician tells the spectator to throws the cards into the air. The spectator does so. The magician reaches into the thrown cards in the air and visually pulls a card from within the 52 cards. It's shown to be the selected card.

method: Start off by having a card selected, signed and placed into the center of the pack. When it's placed in the pack maintain a pinky break and use the pass to control it to the top. Now palm it off and hand the deck to the spectator to shuffle. Turn you're back and tell the spectator to shuffle the cards well and tell them you will not look during this process. While your back is facing the spectator put the card in a backpalm. Turn around and tell the spectator to throw the cards in the air. Once they do so quickly reach up into the cards in the air and let the card come out from the backpalm. Bring it down and show to be the card signed and selected at the start.

advice: When doing the pass do not try to rush it. It's actually better to do the pass slowly. To make the whole move look natural have the top of the deck a little messy while the break is maintained. Bring the hand over the deck and square the card while at that moment doing the pass and palming the card off right at this time. You could also misdirect a bit and palm the card off a bit later. It's up to you.

When doing the backpalm, do it quickly and make sure the card is well hidden behind the hand before bring the hands out in performance again. Act natural and use some misdirection to make everything go smooth to the part of the card catch.
