Employee monitoring software discussion

We are monitored by our boss now! Recently our boss installed the employee monitoring software to spy us, we are upset all day. I don’t mean to waste time in the office, but we are really worried about my privacy. But we have no choice. What about your company? Do you think it’s proper to do this in a company?
